Noah's Blessing

Steven gave Noah a beautiful blessing today at church. We are so grateful to our friends and family that were able to attend the blessing and show their love and support to our family. To all the family members that could not attend the blessing, we want you to know that we love you all and wish that you were here.

Thanksgiving

11-19-09
We had a great Thanksgiving. My parents came from Wa. as they do every year and we had so much fun while they were here. It was especially fun having a new little guy in our home and we are so very thankful to have Noah in our family!
Matthew LOVES to cook. He had a great time helping
make this amazing pecan pie My mom doesn't like to be in pictures
so all we get is her hand!

I just had to get this outfit for Noah, I don't
think he was that impressed with it though.

What do you think?

Sometimes...I feel like a pin cushion!

This is the picture after I put in my insulin pump and the blood sugar sensor. As I started to clean up I looked down and saw what a mess I had made. The first thought I had was that my bathroom looked like a Dr.'s office or lab. I then started to feel sorry for myself but luckily that feeling did not last long.

I have to thank my wonderful husband for helping me every time I have to change one of these. He always puts the pump or sensor in for me and I know that he feels so bad when it hurts and I cry. He holds me until it stops. I always tell him before he pushes the buttons to insert the needles NOT to hurt me and he never says a word because we both know that is not a promise he can keep.

I love you-Hon

One of many things to be thankful for

For those of you that do not know, I was not supposed to have anymore children because of my health. After Matthew and Ella, I always knew that there was a child missing from our family. I would tell Steven all the time that we needed to have another baby. I knew there was another child waiting to come into our family.

I had not been on birth control for years and I do not get pregnant easily. I had go to the OB in Nov. for an annual check-up and ask for fertility med. I told Steven. He was not excited about the idea (he was worried about me) to say the least. I was very hurt but didn't want to do something without my husbands approval or blessing. I thought about it for a day or so and then I got down on my knees while he was at work and prayed to Heavenly Father about what to do? I told him that I wanted a baby and I felt that one was waiting for us. I said that I would not take the medication and if its meant to be I will get pregnant. I left my prayer in the Lord's hands and did not tell my husband about it. I filed the Rx away and did not think about it for 2 months when I found out that I was expecting our third baby! I then told Steven about my prayer and he asked me why I didn't tell him before. I told him that I knew he didn't want me to have anymore so I did it with out him. I was so scared to be pregnant and I was not sure what he would think. He came to me and told me that it was going to be OK. This was the baby that I had been talking about for years and was waiting to come to our family.

I walk around my house tonight checking on my kids and think about how blessed I am to have 3 healthy, active, and loving kids in my life. I count my blessings all the time and should count them even more.

Santa came early this year!

I have been needing and wanting a new laptop for the past year or more. Mine has finally stopped working and my husband is tired of hearing me cry, complain and so on about it. I also think he is tried of sharing his work laptop with me at night. So he bought me one, a Brand New Laptop of my very own. He surprised me with it last night and stayed up till the wee morning getting it set up for me. Thank you Steven/Santa for this great gift!

I guess I have no more excuses for not blogging!?

First Day of School

The kids really wanted Dad to come with us on the first day of school. Thanks Dad for missing a little work so you could walk us to class.

Matthew and Ella were very excited to go to school this year. We met both teachers the night before at the open house and I have to say that I had a great feeling about both of them. I was not nervous about them going to school, but I was nervous about what I was going to do with my time before the baby comes.

The sun was a little bright!

What a handsome 3rd grader

An excited 1st grader
Ella would not let me take her picture again after school so this is it

No More Monkeys jumpin'...

My sister Samantha called me one day and said what do you think of the Theme "No More Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed" for the baby's room? I said I like it! So we started looking up vinyl for the little guy's room. My sister own's her own Vinyl Business and can do just about anything. So...she brought all the vinyl with her when she came a few weeks ago. My older sister Stephanie was here and helped us put the room together. We went shopping for the crib, changing table and all the great fabric for the bedding. 6-7 stores later I found all the fabric that I liked (with the help, patience, and support of my sisters). I then let my sisters go to work helping me put up the monkeys and tree stuff. I think it looks great. Thank you both for all your hard work and time. I love you!!

Samantha whipped the bedding out in a matter
days. She is so dang talented!!

Heads Up

Steven bought Matthew a new baseball mit and wanted to brake it in before his 2nd game tomorrow. They had been playing for a while and Matthew was really have a great time when all the sudden Matthew got popped in the face with the ball! Needless to say that did not go over to well. Matthew and blood do not mix at all! Pour boy was not happy and can you blame him?Steven tried to calm him down by telling him about the time he was hit in the face with a baseball and how it hurt. Matthew soon went back out and played a little longer but was extra carefull of how he was catching the ball.

OUCH!

First Baseball Game

I asked Matthew if he wanted me to sign him up for machine pitch this year and he said NO!
So I did it anyway with out telling him. When it came time to go to the first practice he was not very happy with me. Matthew thought that machine pitch was like when daddy takes him to the bateing cages and the ball comes at you at 25mph. He had a great practice and was looking forward to his first game. Saturday we ran all around getting last minute things for him to be ready for his first game and you could tell he was a little unsure of was to expect. The game time finally came and he found that he had some teammates that he knew and that made him feel better.

After the game Steven and Matthew raced to the car and when they got there Matthew said, "I love that game".
